How to Join or Renew Your Membership

If you live in the Northwest region of Westchester County (Briarcliff Manor, Buchanan, Croton on Hudson, Cortlandt, Jefferson Valley, Mohegan Lake, Montrose, Ossining, Peekskill, Shrub Oak, Somers, Verplank, and Yorktown) we would be delighted if you would join us! However, you may join any local league in Westchester County regardless of your address.

As a member, you will:

• have the opportunity to participate in local, state, and national League work

• get exclusive civic information you can trust

• know that your membership dues add to our grassroots strength and our financial resources

• help empower voters and defend democracy!

All are welcome - regardless of gender or political affiliation. League members have the opportunity to stay informed about important issues and support the work we do in studying the issues and informing others.  We value each member, whether or not you are able to become involved.

The League is fully committed to ensure compliance - in principle and in practice - with LWVUS' Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policy. 

Membership is open to everyone 16 years of age or older.

How “Pay-What-You-Can” Works

Members are encouraged to pay a suggested rate of $75. The minimum dues amount is $20. You may pay what you can. However, please know that 20% of dues collected will be paid back to our League to help fund our educational programs and advocacies.
